These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CrawlBrain, including the CrawlBrain website at crawlbrain.com, the CrawlBrain application, the embeddable search widget, the WhatsApp channel, the content export features, and the CrawlBrain API (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by MINBO QRE SRL (Company No. 37814865), a company registered in Romania, operating the CrawlBrain product ("CrawlBrain", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, installing the widget, calling the API, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

By creating an account, installing the widget, calling the API, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. About CrawlBrain
CrawlBrain is a hosted software service that reads the content of a website you own or are authorized to manage, builds a searchable index of that content, and returns semantic search results and AI-generated answers to questions asked by your site visitors. The Service is delivered through a website search widget, an optional WhatsApp channel, a content export function, and an API.
CrawlBrain is a search and answer tool that works with the content it is given. It does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any answer it returns. You remain responsible for the content of your website and for how answers are presented to your visitors.
1. About CrawlBrain
CrawlBrain is a hosted software service that reads the content of a website you own or are authorized to manage, builds a searchable index of that content, and returns semantic search results and AI-generated answers to questions asked by your site visitors. The Service is delivered through a website search widget, an optional WhatsApp channel, a content export function, and an API.
CrawlBrain is a search and answer tool that works with the content it is given. It does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any answer it returns. You remain responsible for the content of your website and for how answers are presented to your visitors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
By creating an account, you confirm that:
The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
You will keep your login credentials confidential and are solely responsible for all activity under your account.
You are not located in a country subject to international sanctions or trade restrictions.
You are not on any government-issued prohibited or restricted parties list.
Accounts are personal to the account holder or organization and non-transferable. You may not create an account on behalf of another person or entity without their explicit consent.

You will keep your login credentials confidential and are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

You are not on any government-issued prohibited or restricted parties list.
Accounts are personal to the account holder or organization and non-transferable. You may not create an account on behalf of another person or entity without their explicit consent.
3. Accounts and Membership
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
Provide complete and accurate registration information and keep it updated.
Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of or access to your account.
Not share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account credentials or API keys to any third party, except as permitted under an eligible plan.
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, usage meters, or a suspension.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where the violation is serious or ongoing. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.
3. Accounts and Membership
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

The Service is provided on a software-as-a-service basis. We host and operate the underlying software, and no source code, model weights, or proprietary components are transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by CrawlBrain and MINBO QRE SRL.
Your license is valid only for the duration of your active subscription. We may modify, improve, or discontinue features of the Service over time. Where a change materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

5. Plans, Usage Limits, and Fair Use
The Service is offered in tiered plans. Each plan defines its own limits, which may include the number of connected websites, the number of pages synced, the number of instant search results ("searches"), and the number of AI answers generated ("answers") per billing period. Current plans and limits are described on our pricing page.
Usage meters reset at the start of each billing period. If you reach a plan limit, affected features may be paused until the next billing period or until you upgrade. We may apply reasonable fair-use protections to prevent abuse, automated scraping of the Service, or usage that threatens the stability of our infrastructure or the experience of other customers.
Attempts to bypass usage limits, including through multiple accounts, automated provisioning, or technical workarounds, may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.
4. The Service and Your License to Use It

6. Your Content and the Websites You Connect
You retain all rights to the content of the websites you connect to CrawlBrain ("Your Content"). By connecting a website and using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access, crawl, copy, index, store, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
You represent and warrant that:
You own each website you connect, or you are authorized by the owner to have its content crawled, indexed, and used with the Service.
Your Content and its use with the Service do not infringe the rights of any third party and do not violate any applicable law.
You have provided any notices and obtained any consents required before submitting content that contains personal data.
You are responsible for the questions your visitors submit, for the answers CrawlBrain returns on your site, and for any content you export or process through the API. Where CrawlBrain processes personal data on your behalf, that processing is governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, by a Data Processing Agreement, available on request.

7. AI-Generated Answers and Accuracy
The Service is a tool to help your visitors find information more quickly. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or other qualified advice. You are responsible for reviewing how the Service performs on your website, for configuring it appropriately, and for any reliance placed on its answers by you or your visitors.
To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that any answer will be accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on answers generated by the Service.
CrawlBrain generates answers using automated retrieval and large language models. Answers can be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, and may not reflect changes made to your website after the last sync.
7. AI-Generated Answers and Accuracy
The Service is a tool to help your visitors find information more quickly. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, or other qualified advice. 8. Payments and Billing
Payments for paid plans are processed by our authorized third-party payment provider, Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record for these transactions. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, tax collection, and order-related support, including refund requests, in accordance with the Paddle Buyer Terms.
By completing a purchase, you agree to:
The pricing, billing cycle, and renewal terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Automatic subscription renewals at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Responsibility for any currency conversion fees or charges imposed by your bank or card issuer.
Providing accurate and valid payment information and keeping it updated to avoid interruption of service.
Prices displayed at checkout include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise, as calculated by Paddle for your location. Failure to complete or maintain payment may result in suspension of paid features without prior notice. We may adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes do not apply to a subscription period already paid for.

Where you have statutory withdrawal or refund rights, those rights are not affected by these Terms.

10. Support Services
Order-related and billing support is provided by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Product support for the Service is provided by CrawlBrain in accordance with your active plan. Support tiers, channels, and response targets vary by plan and are described on our website.
Support is provided in English. Response times are targets, not guarantees, and may vary with volume and complexity. We may limit, reduce, or withdraw support in cases of abuse or harassment of support staff, demands disproportionate to the purchased plan, misuse of the Service, or accounts in breach of these Terms or their payment obligations.
10. Support Services
Order-related and billing support is provided by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Product support for the Service is provided by CrawlBrain in accordance with your active plan. Support tiers, channels, and response targets vary by plan and are described on our website.
Support is provided in English. Response times are targets, not guarantees, and may vary with volume and complexity. We may limit, reduce, or withdraw support in cases of abuse or harassment of support staff, demands disproportionate to the purchased plan, misuse of the Service, or accounts in breach of these Terms or their payment obligations.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Romanian and EU data protection law.
For account, billing, and website data, MINBO QRE SRL acts as data controller. For personal data contained in content you connect and in questions submitted by your site visitors, you act as the data controller and CrawlBrain acts as a data processor on your instructions. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Romanian and EU data protection law.
For account, billing, and website data, MINBO QRE SRL acts as data controller. For personal data contained in content you connect and in questions submitted by your site visitors, you act as the data controller and CrawlBrain acts as a data processor on your instructions. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious purpose.
Connect any website you do not own or are not authorized to have crawled and indexed.
Submit or index content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to process.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with usage meters, security, or access controls.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service.
Use the API or exported content to build or train a product that competes with the Service.
Place excessive load on, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or that of any third party.
Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authorization when using the Service.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious purpose.
Connect any website you do not own or are not authorized to have crawled and indexed.
Submit or index content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to process.
Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with usage meters, security, or access controls.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service.
Use the API or exported content to build or train a product that competes with the Service.
Place excessive load on, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or that of any third party.
Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authorization when using the Service.
Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund and, where appropriate, referral to the relevant authorities.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, design elements, trademarks, logos, and documentation of the Service are the exclusive property of MINBO QRE SRL or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the CrawlBrain name, logo, or branding except as strictly necessary to use the Service.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, resell, sublicense, or distribute any part of the Service, remove or alter any proprietary notices, or create derivative works from the Service. We retain ownership of all improvements to the Service, including any anonymized or aggregated data derived from usage that does not identify you or your visitors.
If you believe content available through the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with full details so we can investigate promptly.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, design elements, trademarks, logos, and documentation of the Service are the exclusive property of MINBO QRE SRL or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the CrawlBrain name, logo, or branding except as strictly necessary to use the Service.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, resell, sublicense, or distribute any part of the Service, remove or alter any proprietary notices, or create derivative works from the Service. We retain ownership of all improvements to the Service, including any anonymized or aggregated data derived from usage that does not identify you or your visitors.
If you believe content available through the Service infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with full details so we can investigate promptly.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers to function, including payment processing, cloud hosting, embedding and language model providers, and messaging infrastructure for the WhatsApp channel. These providers are listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms of these providers where they apply directly to you. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.
14. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers to function, including payment processing, cloud hosting, embedding and language model providers, and messaging infrastructure for the WhatsApp channel. These providers are listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service may also be subject to the terms of these providers where they apply directly to you. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, with or without prior notice, if:
Payment obligations are not met, or a payment is reversed or disputed without valid cause.
You violate any provision of these Terms.
Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity is detected on your account.
Compliance with a legal obligation, court order, or regulatory requirement requires it.
Your account poses a security or operational risk to the Service or to other customers.
You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention rules. Where practicable, we will allow you to export your content before deletion. Suspension or termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law or by our Refund Policy.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Service, with or without prior notice, if:
Payment obligations are not met, or a payment is reversed or disputed without valid cause.
You violate any provision of these Terms.
Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity is detected on your account.
Compliance with a legal obligation, court order, or regulatory requirement requires it.
Your account poses a security or operational risk to the Service or to other customers.
You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention rules. Where practicable, we will allow you to export your content before deletion. Suspension or termination does not entitle you to a refund except as required by law or by our Refund Policy.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any answer it returns will be accurate or complete.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms is limited to the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, business, or reputation, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Romanian or EU consumer law.
16. Limitation of Liability

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any answer it returns will be accurate or complete.

17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrawlBrain, MINBO QRE SRL, and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: your use or misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your breach of any applicable law; the content of websites you connect or answers shown to your visitors; or any third-party claim arising from your use of the Service. This obligation survives termination of your account.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CrawlBrain, MINBO QRE SRL, and its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: your use or misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms; your breach of any applicable law; the content of websites you connect or answers shown to your visitors; or any third-party claim arising from your use of the Service. This obligation survives termination of your account.
18. Sanctions Compliance
The Service is not available to individuals or entities located in or operating from countries subject to international sanctions, including sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States (OFAC), or the United Kingdom, or to any person listed on an official prohibited or restricted parties list. We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate service where a sanctions risk is identified, without liability and without refund where permitted by law.
18. Sanctions Compliance
The Service is not available to individuals or entities located in or operating from countries subject to international sanctions, including sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, the United States (OFAC), or the United Kingdom, or to any person listed on an official prohibited or restricted parties list. We may refuse, restrict, suspend, or terminate service where a sanctions risk is identified, without liability and without refund where permitted by law.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. The current version is always available at crawlbrain.com/terms-of-service and is identified by the Effective Date at the top of the page. We will post a prominent notice of material changes on our website for at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. The current version is always available at crawlbrain.com/terms-of-service and is identified by the Effective Date at the top of the page. We will post a prominent notice of material changes on our website for at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania. If you are a consumer located in another EU member state, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable EU consumer protection law, and nothing in this clause limits those rights.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania. If you are a consumer located in another EU member state, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence under applicable EU consumer protection law, and nothing in this clause limits those rights.
21. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us using the details below. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 3 business days and to resolve them within 30 days. For order, billing, or refund complaints, you may also contact Paddle directly as Merchant of Record. If you are an EU consumer and your complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform or the consumer dispute body competent in your country.
